The network intends to achieve the following objectives
- Documenting and profiling of all the grassroot EHRDs (place a database)
- Conducting of periodic security risk assessments and updating of our protection plans
- Putting in place a security emergency fund this will help in to respond to emergencies incase the EHRDs are at risk
- Conducting of periodic physical and digital security trainings of Grassroot EHRDs
- Conducting of periodic legal empowerment trainings (compliance and application of UN human rights mechanisms)
- Training of EHRDs on monitoring, documentation and reporting (MDR) in the region to help in precise tracking and reporting of all the ongoing threats on EHRDs amidst oil and gas development in Uganda.
