Monitoring Civic SpaceWe continuously monitor the state of civic space and human rights in Uganda, documenting any threats or restrictions faced by EHRDs. This ongoing assessment allows us to respond promptly and effectively to emerging challenges, ensuring that our advocacy efforts are both timely and relevant.
Strategic LitigationIn cases where legal action is necessary, we support strategic litigation efforts to challenge unjust laws and practices that restrict the work of EHRDs. By taking legal action, we aim to set precedents that uphold the rights and freedoms of defenders, contributing to long-term systemic change.
